The latest protest comes after an independent review of Facebooks progress in quelling hate speech found the social media platform has not done enough to protect people using the platform.
The protest also comes after Facebook admitted that it did not remove calls for armed citizens to attend protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in the name of law and order, despite warnings from users.
Last week, Facebook engineer Ashok Chandwaney resigned from the company because he claimed it has continued profiting off hate in the US and globally.
