Instance of Google/YouTube Bias: 300+ Trump Ads Removed

YouTube took down more than 300 ads from President Donald Trumps election campaign in what is only the latest example of the company fighting with the right.

This was only the latest in a series of anti-conservative controversies involving YouTube and its sister company Google.

Liberal professor Dr. Robert Epstein cited in a documentary the Creepy Line how Google manipulates search results in order to influence elections.

Googles Trust and Safety Council reportedly operated using a blacklist which included Matt Walshs blog, Gary Norths blog, American Spectator, the Conservative Tribune, and the Gateway Pundit.

An internal document referred to as The Good Censorwas reportedly produced by Google and leaked exclusively to Breitbart.

The document indicated that Google saw itself as having a social responsibility to manage the online conversation following Trumps election and suggested further that the American tradition of free speech on the internet is no longer viable.

YouTube has also specifically created a Twiddler system for boosting and deboosting content, essentially rigging the order of search results based upon various political keywords, according to a 950-page leak from Google whistleblower Zachary Vorhies.

The news of this latest bit of bias from Google/YouTube broke following a 60 Minutes interview of YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki.

During the interview, 60 Minutescorrespondent Lesley Stahl noted that President Trump has been advertising a lot on YouTube lately, and asked whether any of his ads have been taken down.

Rubin said that he created the platforms to help solve the massive problems with Big Tech that we all know exist, including things like deplatforming, algorithmic suppression and shadow banning. But according to sources speaking to The Washington Post, Facebook has weighed whether to label political ads to indicate they have not been fact-checked, rather than vetting what candidates say, one of a series of proposals the company has floated leading up to the 2020 election". The Times called that provision pretty foundational to the internet. Biden spoke with The Times editorial board as it tried to determine which candidate to endorse as an organization. Wojcicki spoke to Eugene Lee Yang of The Try Guys on Dec. 16 regarding YouTubes harassment policy update and apparent efforts to appease the LGBTQ creator communitys concerns. Every single time we make a change, she emphasized, one of the factors measured is the impact on a set of LGBTQ creator videos.
