Facebook's small logo change honors the life and legacy of a large figure

Small actions can have large impact when it comes to remembering the legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Facebook's mobile application is displaying on Monday a logo inspired by the late justice, complete with a gavel, a heart and her signature collar.

The logo seems to only be displaying on the mobile version of the social network, coinciding with the pop-up effort from the company to drive voter registration.

The tech giant said itsballot-box push has surpassed the 2 million new voter registrations from Facebook, Instagram and Messenger users.

Her death creates a vacancy on the high court that President Donald Trump vowed over the weekend tofill with another woman.

Republicans are expected to move quickly in announcing a replacement for Ginsburg's seat before the 2020 presidential election.
