Facebook will pay some app and Instagram users for deactivating accounts, taking surveys ahead of election

About200,000 to400,000 people are expected to participate in the study, according to Facebook's frequently asked questions about the study.

Users assigned to deactivate their account through the electionwill need totake a survey before reactivating their accounts, according to the screenshot, which says more details will be sent to users in late September.
